A few days ago, the mother fell ill and her six-year-old daughter was by her side. She had catch cold severe andcoughIn preparation for the care. My daughter initially took paracetamol to ensure that if nothing happened she could at least get out of bed. Those four days were very difficult for all of us, but I knew that this could happen one day. I took some precautions. Here are the things I kept that I would like to share with you.
Keep a record of your doctor's number so your child can call him or her.
- Always keep necessary medications next to your head and tell your child who will give you the medication when needed.
- Purchase a water dispenser, fill it with filtered water, and keep it in a place where children can easily reach it. This way, children can scoop up water when needed. Keep a few cups and saucers handy. Make sure they aren't made of glass, which can break easily.
- Keep snacks and food on a shelf where children can reach and eat in case you are unable to get it and feed them.
- Tell them to choose your calls.
- Teach them to check the cat's eye on the door if the bell rings and tells you who is at the door. If you know that person, let them in.
- Tell them who to call in an emergency.
These little things help a lot. We shouldn't think that children don't understand, they don't help, but we should realize that they are mature and very understanding. Without my daughter's support, I wouldn't have been able to manage my illness. She was ready with my medications and reminded me to take her with me. After a few days we ordered food from outside, but she ate without saying a word.
For mothers, make your children your best friend and watch as they prove their maturity no matter their age.
