Version 23.10.01.45 of the AMD Radeon video card driver suite was released on June 6, 2023. These drivers are also referred to as Adrenalin Edition AMD Drivers.

What are the drivers for the AMD Adrenalin Edition video card?

The latest AMD drivers are compatible with most AMD-based video cards for Windows. This is the latest WHQL-certified version of these drivers and replaces all previously available drivers.   • Fixed: Improvements to high idle power when using FreeSync-enabled 4k@144Hz displays or multi-display configurations (such as 4k@144Hz display or 4k@120Hz + 1440p@60Hz display) with Radeon RX 7000 GPUs.
  • Fixed: Intermittent crashes may be observed while playing WWE 2K23™ on some AMD graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
  • Fixed: Intermittent crashes may be observed after switching windows while playing Nioh 2 on some AMD Graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 6800 XT.

Known Issues AMD Radeon v23.10.01.45

There are still some known issues with the latest drivers:

  • Intermittent application crashes may occur while running RuneScape™ on some AMD Graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 5700 XT.
    Intermittent damage may be observed around some player models while playing Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+ on some AMD Graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
  • Stuttering may be noticeable while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II with Radeon Anti-Lag enabled. As a temporary solution, users experiencing this are advised to disable Anti-Lag in each game's settings.
  • The performance metrics overlay may report N/A for FPS in different games.
  • Display signal may be lost after switching windows on some Adaptive-Sync-enabled displays with some AMD graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
  • GPU memory usage is higher than expected when using certain recording and streaming settings like instant replay.

Windows 11 and Windows 10 are the only supported operating systems for the v23.10.01.45 drivers. Supported AMD mobile GPUs for v23.10.01.45 include the Mobility Radeon HD GPUs (8500M and 7700M), and the AMD Radeon R9/R7/R5, RX 5500M, and M200/M300.

R5 (300, 200) and Radeon HD 7700 and 8500 series GPUs. A-Series AMD Radeon R7, R6, R5, R4, R3, and R2 APUs are also supported.

Some laptops and tablets with integrated AMD graphics (particularly those manufactured by Toshiba, Sony, and Panasonic) may not be supported by any AMD driver, even if the device has an AMD logo. If you're having trouble installing these AMD drivers, use the video drivers provided by your computer manufacturer instead.
