How to Post a Voice Note as WhatsApp Status on iPhone and Android

WhatsApp Status works just like Instagram Stories on iPhone and Android. You can post a text message, photo, video, or web links to WhatsApp Status Share your own voice notes with your friends. Now you can even post a voice note as your WhatsApp Status.

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that lets you post a voice note to your WhatsApp Status. In this post, we'll show you how to do the same on your Android or iPhone.

We suggest updating WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android phone to use this feature. WhatsApp introduced voice notes in Status for WhatsApp v23.5.75 for iPhone and v2.23.4.79 for Android. Use a voice note as WhatsApp Status on iPhone

Let's start by posting a voice note as a WhatsApp Status on your iPhone. You can share an announcement or important information with your contacts using a voice note. Like a regular WhatsApp Status, your voice note will expire after 24 hours. Here's how to record and post it.

Step 1: Open an app WhatsApp on your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap Status in the lower left corner.

Step 3: Click on the icon pencil In the upper right corner next to my status.

Step 4: On the Status screen, tap and hold the button. Voice note (Microphone icon) in the upper right corner of the keyboard to record your voice message.

After you record your voice note, you'll see the audio appear as a widget on the screen.

You can change the background by clicking on the color palette icon in the upper right corner.

You can also add text, an image, or a web link.

Step 5: Next, click on the icon. Send To post your voice note as WhatsApp Status.

How to Delete a Voice Note from WhatsApp Status on iPhone

Here's how to delete a voice note from WhatsApp Status on your iPhone.

Step 1: Open an app WhatsApp on your iPhone.

Step 2: Click on Status in the lower left corner.

Step 3: Click on Note Which I published.

Step 4: Click on the three dots next to your status and select delete.

Step 5: Click on “Delete Status Update” For confirmation.

If you're using an Android phone, here's how to post a voice note as your WhatsApp status update. The same 30-second rule applies here as well.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp app on your Android phone.

Step 2: Click on Status tab above.

Step 3: Click on pencil icon in the lower right corner.

Step 4: Press and hold Registration icon To record your voice note.

Once you record the voice note, you will see an audio widget on the Status screen.

Step 5: Next, tap Send icon In the bottom right corner to post your WhatsApp Status.

Step 1: Open an app WhatsApp On your Android or iPhone.

Step 2: Click on Status In the lower left corner (iPhone) Or select a tab Status At the top (Android).
