Step 3: Once you're done, a small clock will appear on the Send button, indicating that it's a scheduled message. Click the Send button, and the message will be scheduled.
Once sent, the message will have a clock icon next to it. You can use this to make any changes to the scheduled message. For example, you can choose to update the message text or change its schedule by selecting the Update Message option.

Although scheduling messages on iPhone isn't as straightforward as it is on Android, it's still possible. The iPhone's default messaging app doesn't have a feature for scheduling texts, but you can take advantage of Shortcut app on iPhone To send a delayed text message from your iPhone, here's how.
Step 1: Launch the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. The Shortcuts app comes preinstalled on devices running iOS 13 or later. If your device is running an earlier version, you'll need to download the Shortcuts app from the App Store.
Step 2: Switch to the "Automation" tab and tap the "Create Personal Automation" button. Next, select the "Time of Day" option from the next screen and choose your preferred time to send the message.
Step 3: Under Recurrence, select the Monthly option and choose the date you want to send the message. Then tap Next in the upper-right corner.
Step 4: On the next screen, tap the “Add Action” button and tap the Apps option from the menu that appears.
Step 5: Scroll down to find the Messages app and tap on it. Here, tap the Send Message option.
Step 6: Now edit the message and recipient fields before clicking Next. Review the message details and click Done.

Once completed, the iPhone will send the message at the specified time. However, there is a major caveat to this method: it is automated. Therefore, the message will be sent to the person on the specified date each month.
