Last year, Xiaomi surprised everyone by launching the new Mint browser while MIUI still had the Mi Browser. It can be downloaded Mint Browser Free from the Play Store and works on any Android phone. Here are some tips and tricks for Mint Browser.

It is also described as a lightweight browser and comes without any in-app ads – one of the annoying things that bothers every Mi Browser user.
If you recently downloaded it or are itching to use it soon, check out these useful Mint Browser tips and tricks that will help you improve your browsing experience.
1. Add or remove icons on the start page
The default start page of Mint Browser includes shortcuts to various popular websites. However, if you like, you can add a link from any website for quick access. For example, I added guidingtech.com as one of my shortcuts.
There are two ways to add a link on the home page.
1 . method
Click Add button in Home page and provide the necessary details such as: Name and URL For the website on the next page.

Method 2
Run any site in Mint Browser and click Three bar icon At the bottom. From the menu, select "Add to bookmarks."

Select the start page from the pop-up screen that appears.
To remove a website from your start page, tap and hold any Shortcut code.Then click on Remove icon present Top shortcut icon that you want to delete.
2. Change the home page
If you don't like the default start page, you can make Mint Browser open a website of your choice on startup or when you press the browser's home button.
To change your start page, follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on Three bar icon at the bottom followed by hit Settings icon.

Step 2: go to the Advanced Options > Set Start Page.

Step 3: Here select custom And feed the website address.
3. Change search engine quickly
You can switch to a different search engine directly from Search bar Anytime you want. All you have to do is click the search engine icon on the left side of the search bar. Then select the search engine of your choice.

4. Use voice search
Almost all browsers have a voice typing feature. What makes Mint Browser different is that it's completely hands-free. So, when you say something, Mint Browser automatically starts searching the web for it, unlike other browsers where you have to tap the Enter or Search button.

To use voice search, either tap the microphone icon on your browser's start page or scan the address bar to reveal the microphone.
5. Use quick search
When you start typing text into the search bar, you'll notice some icons below the search bar. If you click on any of the icons, your browser will start searching for the specified term on that website. For example, if you type guidingtech and click on the YouTube icon, your browser will display YouTube results.

6. Block ads
Fortunately, Mint Browser comes with a pre-loaded ad blocker. To activate it, tap the three-bar menu icon and press Ad blocking option.
7. Change tab view
Very few browsers allow you to view Multiple tabs Horizontally or vertically. Thankfully, a browser is one of them.
To change how you view multiple open tabs, go to your browser's Settings (three-bar icon) > Advanced > Manage multiple windows. Select Portrait or Landscape view, depending on your preference.
8. Switch to desktop version
style Chrome You can switch to the desktop version of the site on Mint Browser as well. To do so, tap the three-bar icon at the bottom. Scroll down the menu and tap Desktop.
9. Close all tabs
To close all open tabs, Mint Browser provides a simple exit button. Clicking it closes all tabs, exiting the browser.
To use it, click on the menu icon at the bottom (three bars icon) and press the exit icon.
By default, no confirmation message will appear when you click the exit button. However, if you want to, you can enable the "Prompt before exiting the browser" setting.
10. Enable dark mode
Mint Browser allows you to apply dark mode to browser settings, the user interface, and menus. It doesn't transform web pages, which is where it's needed. However, there's a workaround where you have to enable reading mode first and then activate the dark theme there. FYI, you can use dark mode on Chrome as well.

11. Quickly clear browsing history
Instead of going into Settings, you can quickly delete all your browsing history directly from the search bar. Simply tap the search bar and tap the delete icon next to Recent History. Boom! It's gone.
Small is big
Although Mint Browser is small in size, it packs a punch, as you've seen above. The coolest thing is that it lets you block ads without downloading any extensions or digging into settings.
