Microsoft's Windows 10 is fully customizable to suit your usage and requirements. There are more than 1.3 billion Windows 10 users , including users coming from macOS or Chrome OS. However, these users will find it difficult to adjust to the taskbar, search box, and app icons placed on the left side. Fortunately, Windows 10 offers two ways to move these app icons to the center of the taskbar.
Many GT members also keep their app icons centered in the Windows 10 taskbar. It's all about symmetry, isn't it? Microsoft is certainly aware of this trend, and has placed app icons and the Windows Home button in the center of the taskbar in the upcoming Windows 11 operating system.
Don't get your hopes up, though. Microsoft still has a lot of work to do with Windows 11, and it will be released to compatible devices later this year. For now, you'll have to use the tricks mentioned above to position app icons in the middle of a task in Windows 10.
1. NATIVE WINDOWS 10 OPTION
Using this trick, you can manually move app icons to the center of the taskbar. Here's what you need to do.

Follow the following steps.
Step 1: Hover your mouse over Taskbar Right click on it.
Step 2: Disable option a lock Taskbar.
Step 3: Right click on Taskbar Again and open the same menu.
Step 4: Go to Toolbars Enable links from the following list.
Step 5: You will see the Links option appear at the bottom.
Step 6: Drag it to the left side of the taskbar and you'll notice the app icons slide to the right side.
Step 7: Use the three-line cursor next to the app icons and drag it to the center.
That's it. You've successfully moved app icons to the center of the taskbar in Windows 10. From now on, you can simply drag and drop new apps from your desktop to the taskbar.
Now go and lock the taskbar from the taskbar settings menu.
2. Use a third-party app
By using a third-party app, one can have more controls over the position of app icons in Windows 10.

Hide Cortana in Windows 10 Taskbar
With the recent unveiling of Windows 11, it's clear that Microsoft is eliminating the digital assistant from future versions of the operating system. It was a great concept, but it didn't gain traction among consumers due to a lack of language support and slow search results.
We're sure many of our readers don't actively use Cortana on Windows 10. There's a quick way to remove the Cortana icon from the taskbar in Windows 10. Here's how.
Step 1: Hover your mouse over the taskbar.
Step 2: Right click on it and disable the Show Cortana button.
You won't see the Cortana icon in Windows 10. From the same menu, you can hide the News widget, Interests widget, and the People list on the taskbar.
