What are smart albums?
Smart Albums is a feature in the Mac Photos app that organizes photos in your library that meet conditions you specify. For example, you can create a smart album that groups photos taken with your iPhone 13 Pro. The smart album will then group all the photos in your library that meet that condition into a single album.
Conditions you can specify when creating smart albums
You can specify one or more conditions when creating a smart album on your Mac. Here are the conditions you can specify:
- Album
- Date taken
- Date added
- Caption
- file name
- Keyword
- Person
- Photo (favorite, hidden, taken in portrait mode, etc.)
- نص
- address
- slot
- Camera model
- flash
- Focal Length
- ISO
- lens
- shutter speed
After selecting a condition, you can access the details and choose how to group smart albums of photos based on that condition. For example, you can set a smart album to group photos taken with or without the iPhone 13 Pro, photos taken with camera models older than the iPhone 13 Pro, and so on.
