“What duck.” You type again. Duck? Well, autocorrect can get on your nerves sometimes. Other than that, it’s a pretty cool feature. From perfecting your spelling to helping you type faster, autocorrect does it all. If you rely on autocorrect to get your iPhone keyboard working, it’s hard to imagine typing without it. If you’re faced with a situation where autocorrect isn’t working properly on your iPhone, here are some solutions you can use to try and fix iPhone autocorrect not working properly. Don’t worry, though, because your friends won’t have to wait long before they can hear the duck quack again.
1. Switch to auto-correct from “Keyboard Settings”

3. Enable spell checking and predictive text
Predictive text gives you contextual word recommendations based on your typing patterns. It uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to predict the words you'll type next in a sentence and recommend appropriate suggestions. This is what you see in the top row of the keyboard as you type.
Spell check essentially corrects misspelled words and replaces them with the correct spelling. Enabling both predictive text and spell check can help improve autocorrect on your iPhone. Here's how.

4. Create a text shortcut
