1. Use a secure folder

First, you need to enable Secure Folder on your phone. Then, you'll see an option to hide photos and videos in Secure Folder in the Gallery app.

The locked folder feature has some drawbacks. If you uninstall Google Photos, you'll lose all your hidden media along with it. All photos and videos saved in the locked folder remain locally only and are not stored in the cloud.

This means you can't access Locked Folder files stored on another phone or on the web. Google Photos also disables any editing or sharing capabilities for media stored in the Locked Folder.

3. Use the ONEDRIVE Personal Vault
