Facebook is a favorite place to share life updates with friends. However, you may feel it's better to keep some posts off your account over time. So, if you're planning to delete multiple (or all) photos on Facebook, this guide is for you.
As of this writing, there's no official way to delete all photos from Facebook at once. However, we've found solutions for bulk deleting Facebook photos. So let's get started.
Method 1: Remove all your photos from Facebook
Facebook allows users to delete up to 50 photos they've uploaded. We've outlined the steps to follow below.
on the computer
Step 1: Open Facebook On your browser and log in to your account.
Step 2: tap on Your profile picture in the upper right corner and select Your account name.
Step 3: Scroll down and select Post management.
Step 4: Locate Pictures that you want to delete.
Tip: You can filter the posts you want to delete using the Filter tab in the top right corner. Here, you can view posts based on year, post date, privacy, and tagged posts.
Step 5: Once selected, click next one.
Step 6: Choose Delete posts And click It was completed.
Tip: You can also choose to hide posts. This will hide the post from your timeline.
Posts and photos will be deleted immediately, so it's best to think carefully before deleting a post.
On iOS or Android device
Step 1: Open an app Facebook On your smartphone, tap the icon. Your profile picture To open your profile.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Post management.
Step 3: Locate Publications And press next one.
Step 4: Click on Delete posts.
Step 5: Choose Delete posts again to confirm.
Method 2: Mass delete Facebook photos using activity logs
In addition to the steps above, you can delete multiple Facebook photos at once using the Activity Log option. The steps are listed below.
on the computer
Step 1: Open Facebook On your browser and log in to your account.
Step 2: tap on profile picture In the upper right corner and choose "Settings and Privacy".
Step 3: Locate Activity log.
Step 4: Expand Your Facebook activity In the sidebar, select Publications.
Step 5: tap on The three points Next to the post you want to remove and choose Move to Recycle Bin.
Step 6: Choose Move to Recycle Bin.
Step 8: To delete the entire post, scroll down and choose recycle bin from the sidebar.
Step 9: Locate Publications to be deleted and click delete.
Step 10: Choose delete For confirmation.
On Android and iPhone
Step 1: Open Facebook > Tap the hamburger menu > Select the gear icon in the top right corner.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Activity log Within your activity.
Step 3: Click on Your Facebook activity and select Publications Management.
Step 4: Click on The three points Next to the post you want to delete and choose delete Or Move to trash.
Step 5: Choose “Move to trash” Or "delete" For confirmation.
Step 6: To remove a post entirely, tap the trash can and select the posts you want to delete.
Tip: If necessary, you can also select All.
Step 7: Choose The three points In the lower right corner.
Step 8: Locate delete For confirmation.
Method 3: Delete Multiple Photos on Facebook by Deleting Albums
In addition to the steps above, you can delete multiple Facebook photos at once by deleting existing Facebook photo albums. However, these steps will only work for the photo album you created. As of the time of writing this guide, you can only perform these steps in a browser.
Step 1: Open Facebook And log in to your account.
Step 2: tap on Your profile icon In the upper right corner, select your profile.
Step 3: Scroll down and select “View all photos.”
Step 4: Choose Albums and click The three points In the upper right corner of the album you want to delete.
Step 5: Locate Delete album.
Step 6: Click Delete album For confirmation.
Method 4: Remove tags from photos on Facebook
Facebook also offers the option to remove photos tagged with your account. This helps if you don't want a tagged photo someone uploaded to your timeline to appear.
on the computer
Step 1: Open Facebook > Log in to your account > Click on your profile picture In the upper right corner, select your profile.
Step 2: Choose Post management.
Step 3: Locate Pictures To remove the marks from it.
Tip: You can also use the filter option to view posts based on date and select to only view posts uploaded by others.
Step 4: After determining Posts, Choose next one.
Step 5: Choose Remove tags And click It was completed.
Tip: You can also choose to hide posts to hide the post from your timeline.

On the Facebook mobile app
Step 1: Open Facebook app > Tap your profile picture icon and select personal file.
Step 2: Scroll down > then tap Administration Publications.
Step 3: Here, select The market Then press next one.
Step 4: Click on Remove tags For confirmation.
