Maybe your shirt doesn't match your better half's color, and you want to change the color before sending it to a large print shop to hang at home. You don't have to be a Photoshop wizard to change an object's color. The whole process is surprisingly easy to do on a PC or Mac. We'll go over two methods and show some examples of changing an object's color in Photoshop. Let's get started.
1. Use the Object Selection Tool.
Selecting an object from the rest of an image is tiring. This often puts regular users off. After Photoshop v21, Adobe introduced the Object Selection tool to select objects in an image. Here's how to do it.
Step 1: Open Photoshop On a PC or Mac. Make sure your device meets the Photoshop minimum requirementsOtherwise, you will feel Photoshop lag.
Step 2: Locate Object Selection Tool From the left menu bar.

Note: For the best selection results, you should draw a tight box around the object in the image. Don't make the box too big or too small, or Photoshop won't be able to work its magic.
Step 4: We tried Photoshop's Object Selection tool on a complex object, like a rose with lots of curves. We have to admit that Photoshop did an excellent job of detecting edges.

If drawing a box around an object doesn't help you find the right edges, you can hover your pointer over the object, and Photoshop will provide a preview of the object for you to select.

Step 6: Locate New Adjustment Layer.
Step 7: Open Hue/Saturation menu and name it The layer.

Step 8: From the right menu, you have a list of Properties.
Step 9: Play with Gradient tool Until you feel satisfied with a new color.

Step 10: You can also adjust Saturation and brightness From the same list.
Check out the live preview, it's ready for export.
You can also change an object's color using the Replace Color option. Let's explore that.
2. Use the color replacement function
When playing with a simple object of one color, you can change the color using the function "Color Replacement".
This trick is also useful when you want to change a specific color of an object. Here's what you need to do.
Step 1: Open Photoshop Import an image into the program.
Step 2: Locate picture From the menu bar.
Step 3: Go to the Edits menu and choose "Color Replacement".

Step 4: A menu will appear. Color replacement.
Step 5: Select a color of the object you want to change.

Step 6: Select the result color from the same menu.
Step 7: Once you've selected the result color, a color picker menu will appear. Photoshop will show you the current and new colors from that list.
When you interact with the color slider, you'll see a live preview of the object's changed color. Repeat the process for other colors in the object, making changes until you're ready to export the final image.
Before finishing the color, you can play with the alternate color. Hue و Saturation و Lightness.

Press the keys Ctrl + Alt + Shift + W Open the export menu. You can play with the image size, change the resolution, and more before exporting it to your desired location on your computer.
