The Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra bring several new changes to the table, and widgets are one of them. Like good old-fashioned widgets, these widgets also let you view certain information on the home screen more intelligently, much like the iPad widgets. All you have to do is place them strategically on one of the home screens and then add the necessary apps. Where are the smart parts?

How to add or remove smart widgets

Step 1: Long press on the Home screen to open the Widget panel, select a widget, and tap it.
Step 2: Tap the Add button to add the widget to one of your Home screens.
Once added, swipe left/right on the widget to scroll through the different widgets. If you've added the Weather widget, you'll need to add the Location widget.
As mentioned earlier, these widgets are nothing more than stacks of widgets. The space-saving design means you no longer need to create multiple home screens to accommodate them all. Instead, you simply need to swipe across the widget to see all the information at once.
Removing widgets is also a simple process. Long-press the smart widget and tap the Remove button. That's it.
How to customize the widget
As mentioned earlier, One UI on the Samsung Galaxy S22 series offers a host of customization options. The best part is that they're easily accessible. The steps are simple. For example, you can add and remove widgets, change the style, adjust transparency levels, and more.
However, you won't be able to adjust the volume of the smartwatch. Given that the phone offers a range of customization options, I've come to terms with this limitation.
1. How to add/remove apps from smart devices
Step 1: Long press on the widget and select the “Add widget to widget” option.
Step 2: Select an app from the list. There are quite a few available, and you can choose something silly like Netflix or serious like Gmail.
At the same time, the number of UI elements available for the app is displayed next to it, which is a big plus.
Step 3: Once done, tap on your selection and that's it.
It's worth noting that One UI has no restrictions on the number of widgets per smart device. So, if you're comfortable with a set of five widgets, it's perfectly doable.
To remove a widget, swipe left on the widget until you reach the widget you want to remove.
Long press and select Remove Widget from Smart Widget.
2. How to customize the widget style
To customize the style of a specific widget, navigate to that widget by swiping left. Then, long-press on the widget and select Current Widget Settings.
Note that this option is available for specific app widgets such as Photos, Clock, Weather, etc.
To change the clock style, tap any of the styles, and that's it. Interestingly, you can also adjust the transparency of the Clock app.
3. How to rearrange widgets within smart tools
By default, widgets add the new widget to the end. This may not be convenient for some. For example, the beautiful frame in Google Photos may not be visible if you hold it in the center. The same applies to the Clock app.
To rearrange widgets, long-press a widget and tap Settings. Then, tap and hold one of the added widgets as shown below.
Now, arrange them according to your preference.
Which smart needs are available?
As mentioned earlier, One UI on the Galaxy S22 lets you play with multiple apps. You can add default apps like Maps, Netflix, Calendar, Notes, and more, as well as add other Android apps on your smartphone like Quotes or TickTick.
Tap the Add Widgets option and then select the app. That's it, but you'll need to make sure the widget style matches the actual look of the widget.
