Add an Outlook account in the Mail app
First, you need to add an Outlook account linked to OneNote on your iPhone. We'll use the Mail app to add this. This way, you'll be able to check your Outlook mail, contacts, notes, and more on your iPhone. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on the iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down to the mail list.
Step 3: Open accounts from the following menu.

Enable Outlook Notes
Now that you've added your Outlook account to your iPhone, it's time to enable email, contacts, and notes in Outlook on your iPhone. Here's how.

Step 2: Open Mail and select Accounts.
Step 3: Tap Outlook and enable Notes for Outlook.

You can view your Outlook notes in the Notes app on your iPhone. Here's how to access and edit them.
Step 1: Open the Notes app on your iPhone.
Step 2: You'll find Outlook with iCloud in the Notes app.
Step 3: Expand the Outlook list, and you'll see all the sticky notes you've added via the Windows app or OneNote mobile apps.
Step 4: Click on the Outlook Notes folder and create a new note from the bottom right corner.
Add a new note using the text editor and tap the Done button at the top. Since these notes will be synced to Sticky Notes in OneNote, you won't be able to use rich text editors like Bold, Italic, Table, Title, and more. It's a simple text editor for adding words.
Access Apple Notes in ONENOTE
Notes you add via Outlook in Apple Notes can be accessed from the Microsoft OneNote mobile apps. Microsoft OneNote For Android and iOS with Sticky Notes integration.
Open OneNote on your iPhone or Android and go to the Sticky Notes section. You can see your newly added notes here. You can open and edit them using the Sticky Notes text editor.
Edit text using bold, italics, underline, or bullet points. You can also add photos from your camera roll. Whatever changes you make in the Sticky Notes section of OneNote will be reflected in the Apple Notes app.
Make Outlook the default account in Notes
You can make Outlook the default account for creating notes on your iPhone. This means your iPhone will use iCloud to sync notes between devices. Therefore, you'll need to change the default to Outlook so you can easily view them in the OneNote mobile apps and Sticky Notes on Windows.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on the iPhone.
Step 2: Go to the notes list.
Step 3: Click on the default account.
Step 4: Select Outlook from the following list.
From now on, Apple Notes will consider Outlook as the default way to create notes.
Restrictions on using Apple Notes with ONENOTE
- You can't use the rich text editor you enjoy with iCloud Notes in Apple Notes.
- You cannot create folders.
- The ability to use tags to organize notes is also missing.
